'Last Days in Vietnam' Featured in the Hamptons International Film Festival
The Hamptons International Film Festival has announced that Rory Kennedy’s Last Days in Vietnam and Jesse Moss’ The Overnighters will be the last two films in the SummerDocs screening series.
Last Days in Vietnam will be shown on Saturday, August 16 at 7:30pm, and tickets for the screenings are available for purchase at guildhall.org or at the Guild Hall box office.
Love, Marilyn Now Available On DVD!
Liz Garbus’ critically acclaimed film Love, Marilyn is now available for purchase on DVD, iTunes, Netflix and Amazon. The film has received outstanding praise for its portrayal of Marilyn Monroe and the craft behind the filmmaking. Owen Gleiberman of Entertainment Weekly writes, “I realized not just how much we don't know about Marilyn Monroe but how a lot of what we think we know is more of a construct than a reality.” And describes the film as presenting “Marilyn without the cosmetic cover of her mythologies.”

LIZ GARBUS' Love, Marilyn HAS TWO WEEK RUN AT NYC'S FILM FORUM
Love, Marilyn, the new film by Emmy Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated director, Liz Garbus, opened for a 2-week theatrical run at New York City's Film Forum theater on Friday, November 30th.
The film premiered internationally at the 2012 Telluride Film Festival, and as a Gala Presentation Film at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. A. O. Scott of The New York Times reviewed it as "a heady cocktail of journalistic rigor and show business flair, a blend that seems, in the end, just right for its blazingly famous, endlessly enigmatic subject." The film also screened at The London Film Festival and Houston FF and was the Opening Night Film at the 2012 Hamptons International FF.
The film is screening daily from November 30th through December 11th.
