On July 26th, 2009, Diane Schuler drove two miles in the wrong direction on the Taconic State Parkway, ultimately crashing into an oncoming vehicle and killing eight people including herself, her daughter, and three nieces. The autopsy reports indicated that Diane had a .19 blood alcohol level, and elevated levels of THC, in her at the time of the crash.
